The Door Project
"Opening Doors To Possibilities" is a community art project utilizing upcycled doors and turning them into works of art. The Door Project will include 15 local schools decorating/painting refurbished doors and then the doors will be displayed during the festival. Additionally, Nuveen Art Center will host a door painting celebration for guests to paint during the Lakeshore Art Festival. This project is made possible by a grant from the Community Foundation for Muskegon County and partnership with the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District, Nuveen Art Center, and Habitat for Humanity/ReStore.

Chalk the Walk
The Lakeshore Art Festival and Downtown Muskegon Now have partnered to bring you Chalk The Walk! Join us on Friday evening and color “between the lines” on Western Ave. We need YOU to Chalk The Walk and be part of our artful event. Chalk will be provided for free or bring your own if you’d like!
