Event Categories
Fine Art / Fine Craft: Art in the Park
Art in the Park is held in historic Hackley Park, a green landscaped setting that features beautiful trees and flowers, interior and perimeter sidewalks, historic sculptures, and a center circle. It is located in the heart of Downtown Muskegon’s Heritage District, home to the Muskegon Museum of Art, Lakeshore Museum Center, Monet’s Garden, Hackley Library, and Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts.
Craft / Artisan Food Market:
The Craft Market will flow through beautiful Downtown Muskegon and will include only handcrafted goods. Absolutely NO buy and sell.
Exhibitors will be placed within Fine Art/Fine Craft or Craft / Artisan Food Market based on their jury scores.
Location/Space
Each exhibitor display space will be at least 10’x10’. Tent size shall not exceed 10’x10’. Spaces will be allocated at the discretion of the festival organizers. Requests will be considered. Corner spaces are not charged as prime locations. Electrical or water service is NOT available. Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own display, tent, and booth equipment.
Entertainment/Children’s Activities
The Festival will feature a Children’s Lane that contains a variety of vendors and activities that focus specifically on children and families. This area will feature free or low-cost, family-friendly, kid-centered arts, crafts, and more. The Festival will also feature a variety of street performers that highlight many forms of artistic expression.
