Fine Art / Fine Craft: Art in the Park
Art in the Park is held in historic Hackley Park, a green landscaped square block that features beautiful trees and flowers, interior and perimeter sidewalks, historic sculptures and a center circle. It is located in the heart of downtown Muskegon’s Heritage District, home to the Muskegon Museum of Art, Lakeshore Museum Center, Monet’s Garden, Hackley Library, and Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts.
Handcrafted Goods: Craft/Artisan Food Market
The craft market will flow through beautiful downtown Muskegon and will include only handcrafted goods. Absolutely no buy and sell. The artist and food market will be located on Clay Ave.
Each exhibitor display space will be at least 10’x10’. Suggested tent size is 10’x10’. Spaces will be allocated at the discretion of the Lakeshore Art Festival organizers. Requests will be considered and met whenever possible. Corner spaces are not charged or allocated as prime locations. Electrical or water service is NOT available. Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own display, tent and booth equipment.
The Festival will feature a Children’s Lane that contains a variety of vendors and activities that focus specifically on children and families. This area will feature free or low-cost, family-friendly, kid-centered arts, crafts, entertainment and more. The Festival will also feature a variety of street performers that highlight many forms of artistic expression.
