FOOD VENDOR OVERVIEW
- Thank you for your initial payment! In addition to your flat vendor fee, each vendor will pay $550 per space or 20% of gross sales, whichever is greater. After the initial flat vendor fee, a Lakeshore Art Festival representative will collect gross sales each night of the event. Payment for that event date must be provided from the vendor to the Lakeshore Art Festival that night, no exceptions. At the end of the festival day, please head to the Chamber of Commerce lobby (Hub) to cash out.
- Provide proof of insurance (Lakeshore Art Festival and City of Muskegon as additional insured). Health Permit in accordance with the local and festival specifications and requirements.
- The Lakeshore Art Festival retains the right to add or refuse any food vendor at any time.

PRE-EVENT
- Are you up to fire code? If not, you must check in with the Muskegon Fire Department BEFORE the event. Contact City of Muskegon Fire Marshal Steve Hammond 231-724-6793.
- All vendors must comply within the Health Department regulations and must not have any out of service or serious health code violations. Please contact the Muskegon County Health Department at (231) 724-6246 if you have questions.
EVENT SETUP
- Set up for the event will occur FRIDAY night (June 27) from 4-8 pm. All units must be on location by 7pm and MUST check in with Coordinator BEFORE placing their unit to assure proper placement. Booth locations/map is below.


- NEW! The festival will be using a Modular Vehicle Barrier System designed to enhance safety for all attendees. Do not attempt to enter the festival grounds at any location other than your designated entry point, and do not drive over or around the barrier system, as doing so may result in vehicle damage. You must enter festival grounds at 3rd St & Western Ave, at the roundabout in front of the Delta Hotel. See map below.
- Vendors MUST be ready to go 30 minutes before show time. That includes removal of all vehicles and staff in place ready to serve.
- While power is provided, each vendor is required to bring a minimum of a 100 foot, amp appropriate, electrical cord to assist with their power needs.
- No vehicles are allowed into the footprint 30 minutes prior to the event or at any time during the event. Also, vehicles are not allowed into the footprint until after the closing time and crowds have thinned out.

DURING THE SHOW
- All units must remain in place for the duration of the event. Vendors are not allowed to close, break down, or exit until AFTER the event is completed on Sunday, even if you run out of food. If you leave early, you will not be invited back the following year.
- Lakeshore Art Festival will have 20lb bags of ice for sale for $8 on location during the event.
- Vendors must provide their own staff during the Lakeshore Art Festival hours of operation.
- Vendors must take proper measures to keep their food area (in and around serving/prep space) as clean as possible during the event as well as post-event clean up. If a vendor’s set up requires grills or fryers on the pavement, the vendor must provide a protective mat on the ground to avoid any damage. Vendor will lose cleaning deposit if their area is not properly cleaned and may not be invited back to the event.
- Payment for sales ice will be collected at the end of each night. At the end of each night, please head to the Chamber of Commerce lobby (Hub) to cash out for the night.
KEEPIN’ IT GREEN
- Vendors are required to compost ALL organic waste within the receptacles provided by Lakeshore Art Festival.
- Absolutely No Styrofoam products can be distributed to guests or used during the show.
- Do you have the proper serving ware? Vendors are required to provide recycled or biodegradable serving ware products during the show. If compliance of this guideline is not met, Lakeshore Art Festival reserves the right to remove vendor from the event immediately and/or not accept vendor for current/future events.
